So what will you hear? 

1970's Disco Club Classics: These are tunes that were heard in all the best discotheques of the 70's and early 80's but were not radio hits. Songs like:

 Kleeer - Keeep Your Body Workin', Gino Soccio - Dancer and Sweet Cream - I Don't Know What I'd Do (If You Ever Left Me)

Crossover Hits: These are tunes you will know, these artists were played in the discotheques and on the radio. Artists like Chic, Donna Summer, Sister Sledge, Kool & The Gang, Gloria Gaynor and Earth, Wind and Fire

Early 80's Post Disco/Boogie Funk: Disco's heyday may have ended in 1979 but people still wanted to dance in the 80s! The dance clubs that didn't go all in with New Wave were playing Boogie Funk and Post Disco. Wax Candy's favourites from this era are:

Ronnie Dyson - All Over Your Face, The Fantastic Aleems - Movin' To The Beat and Henderson & Whitfield - Dancin' To The Beat

Disco sounds best on vinyl! The mixing and mastering of original 12" vinyl releases in the 70's and 80's was tailored for the sound systems at discotheques. You'll hear the warmth as soon as you enter the Piston's back room. We have tuned the room and sound system with care to highlight the dynamic and full sound of Disco. The dancefloor is immersive with a Disco ball, party lights and haze (water based and easy on the lungs). A fabulous place to lose yourself in the music!
