Excited to announce our guest dj this month! Multifaceted DJ/Producer R-oderick has deep roots in Toronto’s techno/electronic music scene as a pillar to its sprawling communities. Although his bite is fierce his tastes are full spectrum still clinging to his soulful roots as one half of Ebony. His sound runs a vast spectrum of bleak, dark and heavy compositions and soulful melodies having work on such labels as Sonic Groove, Pinkman, Nodding heads, Jericho One, Forth, R-ZONE and Opal tapes and a recent release with Jordan Gardner with the project EBONY on MTL based label Moonshine.

Host dj Kiki LeFreak is a local fav and we’re very excited to have her host this party. Since coming out of retirement she's taking the city on by storm playing at countless venues including her own events - Shango and Love Tempo. Kiki LeFreak always keeps your body moving, playing all the goodies of House Disco and Funk! Kiki's dj sets are like a jack in the box surprisingly explosive! Get ready for a night of utter bliss!

The Freef’all open mic is a monthly SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH. Doors and sign up are at 7:30pm at the Piston. Admission is FREE.. Sign up is first come first serve. Our FEATURE ACT starts at 8:00 and runs until 8:30 and then the OPEN MIC starts and runs until close. Performers get two songs or up to 10 mins as long as there’s time. If it gets super busy which it has been recently we will go into LIGHTENING ROUND (one song each) in order to get through the list. We have house instruments and a sound person, so we can accommodate pretty much any musical situation.. Any questions or concerns?
