It’s Summer in the city… and sadly Summer 2019 is another one of ‘those’ Summers. Yes, Summer 2019 is another dreaded European ‘Football-less’ Summer. No World Cup and No Euros to gather the tribes around TVs and screens at pubs and bars in the city. These Summers always just feel wrong

BUT…

THANKFULLY… the EUROPEAN FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION has thrown us all a bit of a lifeline for Summer’s like these from now on with the introduction of the new NATION’S LEAGUE CUP. The Nations League is a 55 Country, year-long tournament (held during the regular domestic season) and culminating in a three day, 3 game, Semi-final and Final.

This is the first year of the new Nations League… and the winning teams from the tournament are now set for the final 3 matches which will give us the first ever Nations League Cup winners.

The Semi-finalists are: Portugal, The Netherlands, England and Switzerland with those 4 teams knocking out all the heavyweights like Italy, Spain, Germany, Croatia and Belgium along the way.

The Schedule for the games is as follows:
