Hearing Trees brings their debut album tour to Toronto!
Listen to Hearing Trees first single "Telling Peter," out now on Spotify:https://tinyurl.com/ycoaescj
Hearing Trees is supporting the release of their long-anticipated full length album, "Quiet Dreams." The group’s lush, layered brand of ambient and anxious rock is built atop a foundation inspired by R.E.M., Matthew Good, and The Tragically Hip and tinged with the more modern and atmospheric musings of Wintersleep and The National. Coupled with sometimes cryptic, always captivating poetry, Hearing Trees offers a masterclass in sweet-sounding catharsis.

Hungry Lake
Hungry Lake is a noisy folk/rock band from Toronto. It has been, for the most part, a conceptual project for a number of years until now. Other than the odd showcase at CMJ or NXNE, the founding members locked themselves away in their studio to create the band’s debut album, The Overpass. Their seclusion ended with the release of the record and the band has been playing a steady amount of shows around Ontario the past year. The Overpass sounds like an apocalyptic landscape of hard rhythms and noise, but with a focus on melody and lyrics. Forward thinking and excited at the prospect of what lays waiting, Hungry Lake stands at a precipice.
